Strabane Rugby Club Pitch

Welcome to the Strabane RFC Website

Strabane Rugby Club is based in Strabane, with the playing pitch on the banks of the picturesque River Mourne as it joins the River Finn on the mouth of the Foyle. A relatively small rugby club, where everyone is known, it includes players and members from all social and religious backgrounds.

Many of the strengths of the club will be obvious to you as you read it, though it is more difficult to convey on paper the exceptionally warm and friendly relationship on which the ethos of the club is based. Each player will enjoy the benefits of a motivated, happy environment, from which entertaining rugby can flourish, under the guidance and instruction of a well-qualified, committed and successful coach.

The club isn't only interested in Rugby; there is also an active social dimension to the club. With an excellent team spirit, the general banter and crack pre and post match makes the club's social events not to be missed. I hope that this site will provide you with sufficient information to stimulate your interest in the club.
